In my 30 experience, I have seen full circle the underwriting guidelines and know how to package your loan to ensure we get your loan approved. I know how to help you with credit challenges, and know what lenders will accept lower credit scores. This doesn't neccessarily mean a larger down payment. In many cases, I can still get you into a home with 3.5% down payment, with less than average credit score.
Electronic filing of most required documents means it gets there faster and you get a decision faster. We've cut down on duplicated information, too -- give it to me once, my systems "remember" it so I don't ask again!
